Russell Martin Foundation CEO Completes Brighton Half Marathon for Charity
The Russell Martin Foundation CEO, Alan Sanders, took on the Brighton Half Marathon challenge last weekend, completing the 13.1-mile course in an impressive 2 hours and 14 minutes. Alan ran in memory of his late friend and RMF colleague, Neil Avard, who recently passed away, and was inspired to raise funds for two causes close to his heart – RMF and Martlets Hospice.
Through his efforts, Alan raised an incredible £2,000, which will be split equally between the two charities. Speaking after the race, he said:
"It was a tough run, but knowing I was doing it for Neil and these two amazing charities kept me going. The support along the route was fantastic, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who donated. Every penny will make a real difference."
RMF would like to extend a huge thank you and congratulations to Alan for his dedication and achievement. His fundraising efforts will help continue our vital work in the community.
