Sian Berry Visits the Russell Martin Foundation's Extra Time Project

The Russell Martin Foundation (RMF) was thrilled to welcome Sian Berry, the Brighton Pavilion Green MP candidate, who took time out of her busy schedule to visit students participating in our Extra Time Project (ETP). This initiative is pivotal in empowering selected students from all ten secondary schools in Brighton & Hove, boosting their confidence and helping them thrive within mainstream education.

Alan Sanders, Chief Executive of RMF, expressed his gratitude for the visit: "We are always pleased to receive guests who can give our students inspiration through a few words of advice, and it was great that Sian was keen to offer her thoughts as well as find out more about what RMF does for the local community."

Sian Berry was equally impressed by the dedication and impact of the ETP, stating, "It was a privilege to visit the Extra Time Project and see the real care, support, encouragement, and confidence the staff were providing to the children. It was brilliant to witness, first hand, the dedication of the staff and the difference they were making, but deeply concerning to hear about the impact of funding cuts on their capacity. If elected, I am committed to ensuring that brilliant organisations like the Russell Martin Foundation receive the support they need to continue their wonderful work in Brighton and beyond."

RMF is dedicated to making a lasting positive impact on the lives of young people in our community. Sian Berry's visit highlights the importance of our mission and the need for continued support to ensure we can keep making a difference. We are grateful for her support and commitment to our cause.
